In August 2019, through our partnership with No Kid Hungry, we have distributed the first round of food baskets (146) to IDPs and poverty-stricken families in Al-Mokha, Yemen with coordination of cluster-led Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAOYemen) 🇾🇪
In April 2019, we partnered with Muslim Aid USA and distributed 250 food baskets to displaced and poverty-stricken families in Abyan’s district of Zinjibar, Yemen. This comes in part of our continuous urgent food insecurity projects to assist those in need.
In June 2019, Yemen Aid with Muslim Aid USA distributed 200 food baskets to the poverty-stricken areas of Dair Al-Ouraj village in the province of Al Hudaydah.
In March 2019, Yemen Aid partnered with the International Council for Rights and Freedom and distributed 800 food baskets for the displaced families in Dammt district, Dhale governorate as a response to the displacement caused by the armed conflicts in nearby areas. The project sought to support those vulnerable families with food assistance for one entire month.
January 2019. In partnership with two Yemeni American nonprofit organizations, Yemen Aid distributed over 900 food baskets, in Hodeidah city, for the needy families of unpaid teachers and those with permanent disabilities. The project comes as a response to the dire need for food that resulted from the worst humanitarian crisis since WWII.
We distributed 1,000 food baskets to poverty-stricken families within districts of Karsh, A’qan and Al-Msaymeer. Around 7,000 family members will benefit from this recent food basket distribution in the southern province of Lahj, Yemen. This comes as part of our efforts and commitment to help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during this humanitarian crisis.
We distributed 1,500 food basket in Taiz within two district to refugees and poverty-stricken families, internally displaced families. These central provinces that faces continuous conflicts and instability. This is part emergency food insecurity campaign which was recently completed in December 2018. This comes as part of our efforts and commitment to help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during this humanitarian crisis.
We distributed 1,000 food basket distribution project for the internally displaced families in the district of Al-Khairan Al-Mahrq” of Hajjah, Yemen. This comes as part of our efforts and commitment to help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people during this humanitarian crisis.
This month, November 2018, the Yemen Aid team distributed food baskets in Dhale. As the famine worsens, this remote village was not reached by other humanitarian organizations. Yemen Aid project team, with the help of our donors and volunteers, traveled to Dhale and distributed 400 food baskets. We will continue to keep communication with Dhale and other remote areas.
Yemen Aid, in partnership with Pure Hands and International Council for Rights and Freedoms, launched a food project in August 2018 in Al-Wazea'a district in Ta'iz governorate consisting of 532 food baskets: 50 kilos of flour, 10 kilo of sugar, 10 kilos of rice and half a carton of beans. This project aims to alleviate the suffering of the families affected by tragic events targeting the poorest groups in the region.
Al-Hudaydah and Al-Khokha
Yemen Aid, in partnership with Nahdat Shabab, distributed 2,000 food basket in Al-Khokha district and other parts of Al-Hodeidah to refugees and poverty-stricken families, internally displaced families, to families with members that are currently diagnosed with cancer in Hodeidah city, Yemen. This is part emergency food insecurity campaign which entails a completed distribution of 1000 food baskets within the Al-Khokha district by Yemen Aid in the month of December.

MOBILE CHARITABLE BAKERY
Yemen Aid launched a mobile bakery project in Sana'a starting June 2018 to provide and deliver bread to the poorest 200 families in the capital, Sana'a, for one year. The project delivers bread to poor families by motorcycle on a daily basis. The project seeks to help the poor and displaced families affected by the war and to contribute to alleviating their suffering in the face of deteriorating living conditions and famine.
Yemen Aid distributed 200 food baskets to orphans in Lahj, the poorest southern province in Yemen, in December 2017. This project is part of the Yemen Aid's food security program and our charity initiative in supporting those who are unsupported by families, who lost their fathers, and who are most affected by the war.
This food aid project helped 400 displaced families in districts, Al-Dhahar and Al-Meshna. Due to the unfortunate circumstances of the war, these families were forced to leave the safety of their homes from different provinces across Yemen. They found temporary shelter in small shops/businesses, which they now live in. As a result of your continuous support and donations we were able to provide these families with food, oil, and most importantly hope.
Aden and Al-Hudaydah
Yemen Aid distributed 200 food baskets containing sugar, oil, rice and flour to starving families in Aden and Al Hudaydah governorates in June 2017 - paid by Zakat Al-Fitr. Each food basket feeds a family of 5-7 members for 30 days. This project is part of Yemen Aid's food security goal to target those in need in the most impoverished cities of Yemen.
