Yemen Emergency Appeal

Displacement, poverty, and economic instability have rendered millions in Yemen to the brink of starvation. According to UNICEF, Yemen is facing one of the biggest humanitarian crises,
with more than 24 million people needing humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children.

That makes over 80% of the population in need of humanitarian aid. Moreover, since the conflict escalated in March 2015, the country has become a living hell for the country’s children.

The current challenges grew worse as droughts, floods, and natural disasters also made a significant impact in creating additional challenges for the vulnerable in the country. Not to mention, COVID-19 and other illnesses have worsened the already dire living situation, since Yemen lacks adequate healthcare and sanitation.
