The aftermath of the conflict in Yemen has forced many families towards displacement. Right now, millions of people are currently residing in slums, makeshift tents, and inadequate shelters, leaving them exposed to climate and weather emergencies.

Since Yemen itself is an elevated region as compared to the rest of the Arab world, temperatures in winter can get significantly lower, occasionally dipping below 0°C (32.0°F). As a result, vulnerable families are left at the mercy of freezing temperatures.

Moreover, the prolonged crisis has prevented most conflict-affected people from recovering their livelihoods. Many households have exhausted financial savings and cannot adequately prepare for winter.

Your Warmth Is Their Hope

As an impoverished country, families cannot afford to protect themselves from the cold, and without humanitarian aid, they can’t survive the extreme temperatures. Therefore, they need emergency winter aid, consisting of warm clothing, winter blankets, heaters, and adequate shelter.

So be their warmth this winter by joining hands with Yemen Aid. To help them survive, we aim to provide winter essentials to assist families in need, including heating equipment, blankets, mattresses, winter clothes, and other NFIs for those who desperately need them.
