The people of Yemen are doing whatever they can to survive the country’s harsh, severe floods and torrential rains.
Over 40,000 homes have been damaged. Families given temporary housing are left in a state of uncertainty until proper relief is found.
Unfortunately, heavy rainfall is still on its way. More than 20,000 people are expected to be impacted in Yemen, including the provinces of Hodeidah, Shabwa, Marib, Hadhramout, Al-Jawf, and Sana’a.
Nearly 1,000 shelters for displaced families have been damaged across the northern region of Yemen.
Yemen Aid is currently on the ground, distributing non-food item (NFI) kits to thousands of families impacted by floods, but we need your support.
Each NFI kit costs $170 and consists of two mattresses, individual blankets per person, kitchen items, jerry cans from safe plastic, plastic basins and jugs, towels, and pillows per family.
We are a direct implementer for Yemen. Our team does not work with any middle men. Instead, our impact and access is direct — for Yemen, by a team of Yemenis.
By donating an NFI kit for a family, you are supporting them with basic needs they should not be deprived of.
Your donation can save a life.
